Resizing images using Microsoft Office Picture Manager
2. Double click on a picture from your My Pictures folder.
3. Click the Edit Pictures button on the toolbar.
4. Click the Resize link under Change Picture Size on the left hand side.
5. Change the size of your picture using any of the various options that appear.
6. Save your image again as a different name so that you always have the original image to work with by going to File > Save as ... and then rename the file.
7. Close Microsoft Office Picture Manager. If you get a message that asks if you want to save the image the was recently changed, click Don't Save.

Embed a YouTube Video in a PowerPoint 2007 Presentation
Text directions for the video:
1. Make sure that the Developer tab is available.
Office button > PowerPoint Options > Check Show Developer tab in Ribbon > OK
2. Click the Developer tab > More Controls button> choose Shockwave Flash Object from the list > click OK > click on the slide and drag until a box is formed.
3. Find a video on YouTube (or other site). Copy the URL (not the embed URL).
4. Right click on the box you created on the slide > choose Properties.
5. Click in the Movie field in the dialog box that opens. Paste the URL in the field.
6. Wherever you see "watch?" in the URL, delete it. Delete the equal sign (=) and add a slash (/) there.
7. Don't loop the video by choosing False in the Loop field.
8. To choose when the movie plays change True to False in the Playing field.
9. Close the dialog box by clicking the red "x" in the top right corner. Test to see if this work in your presentation.
